DZ TAPES COMMUNITY COMP: 4 DAYS LEFT

"HELLO WORLD,
I have been gathering tracks from over two dozen independent musicians across the US and abroad for the production and release of a limited cassette compilation to kickstart the launch of DZ TAPES, a new label devoted to publishing lesser known works through the pocket-sized, nostalgically-tactile analog cassette tape medium.
I am very excited to have the opportunity to promote original (and in most cases, exclusive) works by friends throughout the music community, but sadly I am unable to fund this project without help from _you_. All donations will go directly towards the production, an $8 donation gets the listener one copy and produces one copy for the artists. $1200 would be selling 150 tapes, but also producing an additional 150 tapes to spread amongst the contributors, and then ship them all across the globe.

This exclusive cassette release will only be available through this Kickstarter campaign until the end of May, when the quota for physical copies will be finalized.

The goal of $1200 is the result of budgeting down to create enough cassettes to satisfy public interest and to make sure each of the contributing artists can have something tangible to show/sell for their contributions. Because this project was only possible thanks to the artists who have donated their original material, it is only fair to donate back to the artists by supplying them with copies of the cassette. Thus your order ensures that (1) you will receive your copy of this limited cassette to enjoy for as long as you have your hearing, and (2) one additional copy will be produced for one of the thirty contributing artists to promote their artistic endeavors.
